The power adaptor for the MacBook's stopped working. The fuse has definittely gone, but replacing the fuse doesn't help. And it's not stuck pins, as is sometimes the case according to Apple's website. A new one's 60 quid, plus P&P. Sigh.

Pity I'd been using the MacBook on battery for a while beforehand, too, but at least I noticed before it decided to power-down on me.

There's a chance the local John Lewis dept will have them in stock, but most likely I'll be ordering one via the web tonight. :-(
